Video Game Violence “79% of American children now play computer or video games on a regular basis.” says a paper titled “Video Game Violence and Public Policy”. Violence involved in video games alters how adolescents think of the world, their mood, and how they are physiologically along with other large series of effects. Changes in video games are changing the new generation. Kids will think that it’s perfectly fine to treat their world and life like a video game. This is not acceptable behavior because things occur in video games that don’t happen in reality. False events including weapons or physical violence in video games will cause them to make irrational decisions based on what they saw in a fictional game. The children in America or any other country will think the video game is trying to teach them something when really it is only teaching them to act out upon teachers or peers. Physical fights also don’t educate kids to do anything, it can lead to them falling down the wrong path in life or in their social group.
