In this generation it seems as if America’s youth is to blame for being violent. People would argue that games promote gun violence and a hostile lifestyle. Many people believe our youth is on a path to destruction and violence. They are wrong. Video Games have been proven to be helpful for our youth. Studies say that young adults who play these video games have fewer conduct problems and were more likely to care for society. Violent video games have been known to be used as a coping mechanism for young adults. Violent Video Games promote a Flourishing community of players who dwell in a virtual fantasy to escape the calamities of reality.

With the pressure of fitting in, performing in man activities and meeting the expectations of our parents or bosses, it has become a stress factor. People can completely immerse there being into the game. Many people have been found to be jubilant while playing and even after playing their video games. Video games take you into worlds unimaginable and open you up into many ideas and great things. For instance in the game Destiny you are a Guardian who travels across planets to defeat many creatures and robots. As a player you must team up with many people across the globe to complete your dangerous quest. The games take a lot of social skills which many of our youth lack in this generation. Most young adults who are shy and have a lack of confidence when socializing with classmates have an effortless time interacting with players around the globe.
