Both worked adamantly against lynching and opposed racially motivated violence. While Washington may have stressed industrial education over liberal arts, he did believe that liberal arts were beneficial (Washington 203). Therefore, Booker T Washington's philosophy will be more effective than W.E.B DuBois because Booker T was able to connect more to African Americans because he was a slave. He knows how to persevere through hard work, and he thought through working hard African Americans could prove they are just as good as white people. Booker T. After looking at both Booker T. Washington and W.E. B. Dubois, I feel that Booker T. Washington had the best solution and best route for his solution for the black community. He was raised a salve and new first hard the lifestyle a majority of the blacks were coming from. He knew the frustrations that they had and knew how to deal with the situations. He was extremely educated just like W. E. B. Dubois, and he understand that change would take time. He knew that many whites would not change their opinions over night and that it would take a long time to get what all black deserved.
W.E.B DuBois’ plan was smarter than Booker T. Washington’s because DuBois’ plan was to fight for the rights of African Americans, and give people a good and equal education. Booker T Washington’s plan was to ignore segregation and discrimination so he can just focus on the wealth and education of former slaves to win over the whites acceptance. One part of DuBois’ plan was the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, NAACP. This Association was one of the most influential civil rights organization. It “focused on legal strategies designed to confront the critical civil rights issues.”.

He showed no remorse for his crimes and committed them over and over. His case paved the way for novels and films about serial killers. Bundy had a condition known as Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) which is what made him such a successful killer.

There are a few ways that Booker T. Washington and W. E. B. DuBois differ in their strivings for racial equality. The reason that these men differ in their views are pretty apparent and go back to the separate arguments that Jane Addams and Elizabeth Cady Stanton produced for women's rights in the 19th century. Jane Addams made some compromises in her push for women's suffrage to make her argument easier to swallow and take a small step towards equality. Stanton puts out her whole argument for total equality which made her argument hard for her generation to accept, but got all the problems on the table.
US II The fight for civil rights goes back further than just the Civil Rights Movement. The Civil Rights advocates were advocating for equal treatment and equal laws as the white men. The history of what happened before the Civil Rights Movement is very harsh. It could start as far back as Jim Crow, which is a law that implements segregation in the south.
It was there he experienced the Jim Crow laws and began to analyze the problems of American discrimination. William Du Bois philosophy on race was different compared to educator Booker T. Washington(Booker). They did not come to terms with a significant amount of topics, had different ideas on progressivism, yet still were able to merge their ideas to help Blacks gain equal rights. W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington had one of the biggest rivalries in the 20th century. They were both accomplished scholars and activists, but it was their differences in black progress and background that shaped blacks’ communities’ future.
