In an organization, job satisfaction, job involvement, and organizational commitment determine their ultimate success. Job satisfaction is defined more of an emotional experience of fulfillment experienced after a well-done job/task in the organization and as well as the productivity of the task doer also (Brown, 1996). Job involvement is defined as the physical, intellectual and emotional participation of the worker in the specified duties and responsibilities. Organizational commitment is described as how connected the employees feel in their bonding experience with the organization (Kanungo, 1982). The feelings expressed should be of motivation, as part of the organization’s undertakings, goals, and mission. They are all geared towards the same purpose of achieving excellence. Therefore, the required measurement tools can identify the data and the talent that the employees may display in their job positions, which is beneficial for the company.
The data that is required to collect the information to understand and identify the problems at Walden Sports Inc. are the factors which demoralize their employees; this is secondary to, a change in attitudes. Therefore, this shows …show more content…

Through the questionnaires, a significant amount of information can be gathered from the employees quickly and in a non-threatening way. Questionnaires also are inexpensive to administer, can be administered to many employees at a time and are easy to compare and to analyze. On the other hand, focus groups can enable the ability to observe reactions, suggestions, and common complaints of employees concerning Walden Sports organization (Saari, & Judge, 2004).
