The company and its subsidiaries operate in five main areas: Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, Studio Entertainment, and Consumer Products and Interactive Media. Companies belong to such cable television network as the Disney Chanel, ABC, and ESPN. Farther the companies own brands include Pixar, Lucasfilm, Marvel Entertainment, Touchstone pictures witch all produces motion pictures. With the news that Walt Disney Company buying funds from 21st Century Fox for over 52 billion dollars in stock, and soon a lot of channels and studios will be moving to The Walt Disney Company. Besides this, The Walt Disney Company manages the major Disney theme parks in Florida, Paris, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
