Walt Disney Disney world is a wonderful place on earth that everyone loves, but what about the man that made it all happen? Walt Disney's early life and amazing accomplishments have built his legacy to prove him to be one of the most influential Americans in history. Walt Disney grew up in a poor family on a farm. His farm animals led to the ideas of some of his first creations. With his love of animating animals he created Mickey who eventually became one of his biggest accomplishments and what he is most known for. He will always be remembered as a man who brought joy to the world. Walt didn't just want good to come of his achievements for himself but he always wanted to bring joy and happiness to this world. He once said, "I've always been bored with just making money," Disney once revealed. "I've wanted to do things, I wanted to build things, get something going." One of Disney's associates commented on his friend's talents: "Walt Disney did things that made other people do things, too, things that didn't seem possible on paper. He had a way of bringing out the best in people, of lifting them to their highest level of performance." History has proven that Walt has always shown a great impact in this world, "Disney's creative output became the standard for family entertainment in modern America"("Walt Disney" CHH). Walt has always brought happiness to the world. It is understood that, "He is a man who lifted America's spirits through the Great Depression and two World Wars, and he is still present in spirit today as his company, Walt Disney Productions, continues to define family entertainment in the United States"("Walt Disney" AAYA). Disney World is one of the most magical and happiest places on earth and even though he didn't live to see it built, he was still the man with the idea. His early life on the farm helped lead up to his amazing accomplishments. “Disney achieved one of his greatest successes in 1955 when he opened Disneyland, a spectacular theme park in Anaheim, California. Many of the attractions at the park are based on Disney films” (“Disney, Walt”).
