Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago Illinois. Walt was one of five children. Walt had very early interests in art; he would often sell drawings to neighbours to make extra money. He followed his art career, by studying art and photography by going to McKinley High School in Chicago. Walt became one of the first producers of films to enter the television, with his series "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" (1954) which he began in 1954 to promote his theme park. He also produced "The Mickey Mouse Club" (1955) and "Zorro" (1957). Plus, Walt came out with the musical Mary Poppins (1964), which is mixed with live-action with animation. After that, Walt continued with his plans to build a new theme park in Florida. He never did finish his plans, the reason being; 1966, he unfortunately was diagnosed with lung cancer. He died in December at the age 65. Roy carried on Walt’s plans to build the Florida theme park, and it premiered in 1971 under the name Walt Disney World. The first is the multi-plane camera, which allowed Disney to transform flat, one-dimensional animation into layered shots with depth and movement. It transformed animation in much the same way that computer graphics did years later. Disneyland was created as an entertainment to give people a place to share their fun and laughter with one another and where children and parents could have fun together. And lastly, the Main Street USA in Disneyland is known as the first indoor shopping mall. The way it was built was shops were on either side of the street and have openings which allow you to walk from one shop to the next. After a while, it became popular and other businesses decided to take the same idea and ran with
