The Kent State University Museum is a historical and contemporary museum mainly revolving around the history of fashion and textile. The museum was founded in 1985 and is composed of eight galleries (Kent). Although fashion is an obvious attraction at this museum, one cannot deny the historic undertone. From beginning to end one might feel a sense of time travel from the 18th century to today. The purpose of this review is to look at the museum more closely and identify the following: vision/mission statement, target visitors, exhibitions, competitors, and suggestions for improvements.

The nonprofit organization Economic Development Group of Wabash County began its journey in 2007 with a vision to help the community of Wabash. The mission statement of EDC is “to create economic and employment opportunities for the people and businesses of Wabash County”. (A Letter from the President/CEO Mr. William S. Konyha page 5, 2011) Incorporating the mission for the prospect of new businesses in the community and to enhance the already established ones the EDC began. When pondering the idea of how one will be accepted on a college campus they need to know what programs are offered. In order for everyone to feel at home there needs to be a safety zone. Here at Arkansas Tech there is an Ally Training class from the Diversity and Inclusion Office. At the end of each seminar there are stickers that each person can take to hang on their door. That allows a student to know that their office is a safe zone.
The mission for the Johnston Community College (JCC) Child Development Center is to produce an early childhood education that would meet the needs of the families whom are being served, by providing a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. They believe in training teachers to work with young children in loving respectful ways, that would enrich their environment. The goal is to provide young children with the best care possible, and to aid the Early Education Students in becoming the next generation of Early Education Professionals. Johnston Community College Child Development Center was established in 1998. It is an extension of the Early Childhood Education department.

They are pretty to look at as you stroll through town, but one, in particular, stands out and has given me the chills since I moved here.
