Introduction To establish purpose of existence and provide insight to the desired future, organizations, companies, and agencies formulate vision, mission statement, and goals or objectives to serve as the blueprint that help to build and operate an excellence-driven organization or agency. Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) is one of the state’s agencies charged with protecting the public, detainees, and offenders under its supervision (DPSCS, n. d.). The mission and vision of the agency can be seen as the managerial tools that are used to direct the agency’s personnel’s behavior toward attaining its objectives (Dermol, 2012). In this paper, I will report how the DPSCS vision and mission statement associate

The County Prep High School mission statement truly expresses why I wish to attend this school. "We are a dynamic, diverse and compassionate learning community that encourages growth and embraces change through meaningful activities in a student centered environment." This explains that there will be a variety of culture and bright students who could encourage and help each other achieve greater goals. Additionally, after completely analyzing through all the program choices, I am ecstatic about joining this high school. For a multitude of reasons this high school appeals to me, varying from its magnitude of programs and clubs as well as its guidance set by teachers and peers.

Howard University is a predominantly black school, expressing excellence, leadership, truth and service I could contribute to the legacy of Howard University in many ways. Growing up I've always wanted to gain the experience of a historically black college or university. As a member of the National Beta Club we promote the ideals of academic achievement and leadership. Being apart of the National Beta Club caused me to strive for my goals and take leadership in all that I do. The mission statement states "To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students."
Washington State University is located in Pullman, Washington, approximately 1,766.8 miles from Webb City, Missouri. The mission statement, as found on the web page of WSU is “to provide an impartial, neutral and confidential process that facilitates fair and equitable resolutions to concerns that arise within the university.” Washington State University is an amazing school devoted to the education of the nation's finest students. There are many things that set this school apart from others such as location, majors and minors, requirements, tuition, and scholarships and grants.
Institutional mission statements are public declarations of the campuses purpose, why it is important, and its core vision of excellence. Several professionals in higher education use their area of expertise to help ensure that the institution mission, as well as their own specialized department mission, is actualized. Asking students and faculty if they feel the mission statement is being portrayed accurately, will help foster the integrity and success of the institution, its departments, and its students. Consequently, I conducted interviews with two individuals who are Los Angeles Valley College (LAVC) students and participants of CalWORKs, and a counselor from the CalWORKs department. Several similarities of opinion between the interviewees were apparent in the interview.

There’s no typical family as nuclear families as in the past and not everyone lives in a multigenerational household. Same-sex families are also on the rise as sexual ambiguity is undergoing its own wave of acceptance in all political, social, and economic spheres. With the absence of the parents’ presence in the home due to an inability effectively balance work and home life, children could develop an emotional void/absence. Good communicative dialogue between children and their parents where the adults describe their work situation as it relates to the home to create resilient children, could possibly benefit the household.
View Park Prep. High School is my former organization; their mission statement is to prepare all students to attend and compete at the top 100 colleges and universities in the nation. View Park falls short of their mission statement because most of their teachers lack certain learning and development needs. According to Learning Forward, "effective professional development enables educators to develop the knowledge and skills they need to address student's learning challenges. Professional development is not effective unless it causes teachers to improve their instruction or causes administrators to become better school leaders" (Mizell, 2010).
Powerpoint Presentation Our mission is to provide parents with resources that would help to succeed in life, whether this is food or education pamphlets. We do this work because we believe that parents are the foundation of our families and thus it is important that we help them deal with stresses in, such as the lack of food or information. For example, according to recent data, 57% of students’ parents report having not money left by the end of the month. This constricts both the ability of families to provide for themselves and their children.
For example, as stated on howtoadult.com, ”Many teens are busy with extracurricular activities, jobs, volunteer work and socializing. When teens younger than 18 can't drive themselves to and from these activities, those responsibilities fall onto their parents, who may not have the freedom or willingness
