Introduction
The website being analyzed in this paper is Spotify.com. Spotify is an internationally recognized music streaming service; however, this website does not contain the service. This website is for potential and current customers who want to learn more about what Spotify offers. I am choosing this website because I am a current Spotify customer and familiar with their website. I think it is interesting how Spotify split the streaming service from their website, and I want to delve deeper into the information they provide on this website. At the end of my analysis, I hope to come to a conclusion about the overall effectiveness of Spotify.com’s usability. Spotify has a specific audience who uses their service, and I will be centering my analysis around them. Spotify attracts an audience, who I am naming Stella. Stella is a 20-25 years old student, who loves to listen to music. Stella has a diverse music taste, listening to rap, classical music, and all that is in between. This is an ineffective function because it is unanticipated and it wastes the time of viewers who just wanted to look around the website.

Links are an important part of any website because they help to direct the audience through the website and take them from one page to the next. As far as functionality is concerned, “the buttons and links must work when you click them” (Reiss 2012 pg. 5). Spotify does an overall excellent job of using buttons and links; however, there are some instances when a link takes the audience somewhere they did not expect to go (see Figure 1).

Forms
Forms are another vital element to consider when designing a website; in fact, Reiss said, “if you are going to fine-tune any pages on your site you should concentrate on your forms” (Reiss 2017 pg. 8). Spotify does not have many forms on their website, however, the forms they do implement are extremely well done (see Figure
