Welcome Speech For Middle School

Good afternoon class of 2017. I would like to say a few words, but first I’d like to thank board of education, administrators, principals, fellow friends, loved parents, and wonderful teachers at Readington Middle School. It has been an honor to have some people guide me through situations and tough times and others that make school the best that it can be. I am here to speak to you today regarding our graduation.

This school year has came by so fast. Writing this speech was the most difficult thing ever. Middle School was the most exhausting part of my life. The lessons we learn in class will surely help us through our next stage, which is Hunterdon Central. Throughout the school year, I’ve had emotional and exciting memories. Some of these memories were the Dorney Park Trip, Philadelphia Trip, Spirit Days and lots of other fun activities, such as the kickball tournament. but most of all, today is a memory to never forget. The Philadelphia Trip was very exciting. The time we stepped on the charter bus, it felt relieving. It was a blast. We went to Independence Hall, heard people talk about the significance of the building and many more. Ate great food at the mall and had social time to talk to friends. Spirit Days were fun because you got to wear the clothes that was told of you and got to see whoever else was wearing it. There’s one more memory I won't forget, meeting my new friends and the people that helped us get to where we are today. Sometimes, I have that feeling in class where I don’t even want to be there because we would just get paper after paper. There's a quote from Anne Frank that really inspired me and I’d like to share it with you guys. “How wonderful it is that nobody needs to wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” To me, this quote means that people don’t have to change the world because
