Were Romeo and Juliet ever supposed to be together? Their love was never known about until the end of each other’s lives. Both Romeo and Juliet never had the chance to tell the families about their secret love, and how the got married. They both had to deal with a lot of problems that kept on popping up in both each other’s lives. There love was never really love; Romeo only “loved” Juliet for her looks. Both the Montagues and Capulets would have never agreed to that marriage. The play was a tragic story, and it had no happy ending. William Shakespeare’s play was called “The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet”, even the title of the play was called a tragedy. Sampson and Gregory were their names. Both were in the market looking around, and then they saw the two Montagues servants. Abram and the Balthasar were the Montagues servant. The Capulet servants wanted to cause trouble for the other servants, but they didn’t want to get in trouble. The Capulet servants started to provoke them and push them with there bodies without touching them. They then started to fight. Other people from both family started to join in the fight, and then Benvolio showed up and told every one to stop fighting. After he calmed everyone down, Tybalt came in and told every to start fighting again. “What, drawn, and talk of peace? I have hell, all Montagues, and thee” (Shakespeare 701). After he made his speech everyone started to fight again. The prince shows up and tells everyone to stop fighting and makes a rule stating that if anyone starts a fight again, they will pay with there lives. “If ever you disturb our street again, your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace” (Shakespeare …show more content…

Their families feud had ended only right after there beloved kids died. “As rich shall Romeo by his lady lie-poor sacrifices of our enmity” (Shakespeare 804). They both never got to live the life they wanted. A lot of people felt sad about what happened, but this happened because of the family; there fight. They never got to live a love life they had wanted, nor did things go there way. The families regretted everything they had done, and how they ruined there children’s life because of the feud they had with each other. After lady Montagues found out what had happened to her son, she dies of grief for her son. “Alas, my lord, my wife is dead tonight, I grief of my son’s exile hath stopped her breath” (Shakespeare 801).
