Art is everywhere and is used in all sorts of ways. Robert Brownjohn is a world renowned graphic designer that broke boundaries of art. The son of an English immigrant bus driver, Brownjohn was born in 1925 in New Jersey. As a teenager in high school his art teacher pushed his creativity to the fullest. That led him to become bold in his art work and talent was in his veins.

Angelo Kotsis When Angelo Kotsis was growing up he never knew that the career he has today existed. When becoming a designer he said it just came naturally to him as Angelo at school loved to be creative. After year 12 he went on and studied Industrial Design at a university in Sydney. His first job was a graphic design for a company which he enjoyed as he loved to see people enjoying the products he designed. Today he enjoys his career which he always wanted.
Throughout reading Wes Moore’s instant classic The Other Moore many key ideas are ascertained, and many themes identified. The crumbling city infrastructure surrounding both “Wes’s” is the perfect landscape to forge a life wrought with poverty, or a resilient attitude with a relentless drive for success and better future. Though many characters embody the poverty surrounding them such as Wes’s father or Tony, foil characters such as Wes’s mother Joy represent the polar opposite. Joy, throughout the story, is constantly battling for Wes to become an upstanding, crime free citizen. Though Joy had the best intentions for her only son, often her efforts were fruitless, even hurtful.
Canada has produced great artists who have been remarkable and significant in the modern art history. Artists have their own style, talent and techniques to make their art pieces more interesting and eye captivating. This country has its own pride when it comes to modern art and one type of it is painting. It is considered as an old form of human art where many artists use this to express their ideas and emotion. One of the most original and influential Canadian modern artists is David Milne.
Alan Magee was a realistic and also modernist painter in the the '90s who lived in Rockland, Maine (Alan Magee pg.1). His inspiration was driven from either trips he and his wife went on, or the political standings of the time. Even in the middle of one series of paintings, he would stop if a new idea enveloped his mind (Alan Magee 1981-1991, pg. 9-12). Alan Magee 's art work was influenced by many things in his life.
Stylistically speaking, the modern movement did not have much success in America, at least not at first. American graphic design was dominated by more traditional illustration up through the 1920s and 1930s, but modernist European design slowly began gaining influence thereafter (Meggs and Pervis 350). One artist who helped to transform the nature of American graphic design was Lester Beall. In a time dominated by economic depression and financial disparity, Beall drew from the Dada movement and attempted to develop bold and exciting forms that were both “randomly organized” and “intuitively placed” (Meggs and Pervis 351). In his posters for the Rural Electrification Administration, Beall often creates movement through simple images of arrows and combines photography with simple flat planes of color.

Hank Wills Thomas is an African-American photographer and visual artist. His main point of interests in sculpturing revolves on race, popular culture and advertising. Born on March 17, 1976 in Plainfield, New Jersey, Thomas is a popular and well-known artist. Through his talented artistic sculptures, Hank Willis Thomas has received honorary awards including winning the Aperture West Book Prize, featuring of his work in other publications such as the Reflection in Black, and other several exhibitions in galleries and museums. Thomas’ sculptures portray a reflection on the social injustices against the blacks.
During my job shadow with Ms. Eileen Chalupa on Doane’s Campus I learned how to be creative, come up with my own style of graphic designing, and most importantly to never give up or lose hope on a project that someone has asked for. Her job is the head graphic designer at Doane University. Some questions that I asked her during the job shadow were what are some positive aspects and negative aspects of working as a graphic designer, are the hours flexible for the job and another question I asked was what training did she do to get ready for this type of work and if it required any type of education to complete. One of the reasons she chose this career was because her mother went through the desktop publishing program at Southeast Community
Milton Glaser is an iconic New York City designer who was born in New York, June 26, 1929. He attended the high school of music and art. Known for his influential colourful dynamic design, the three most popular of his famous design work include the I love New York logo, Bob Dylan poster and DC bullet logo and also designed for DC Comics. Milton Glaser is still a working graphic designer today, and I think his relevance to the changing of culture is outstanding.
Many individuals who suffer from asthma face one common issue. The medication they are given stop answering after a while. TIt could be either because of lack of proper usage or because the body has adapted itself on to how to react to medication. So what will you do if you had to live with asthma all your life but if medication was proven little effective? This is where asthma control comes in.

She comes out very strong with her speech and tone of voice, towards the concept of different types of designing. There is a bigger impact of graphic design on society today.
