Bobby Flay Bobby Flay has had many accomplishments in his life, having his own show, having restaurants in 19 locations in across 11 states, and his special appearances on Food Network has made him a well known chef all around the world. Flay was born in New York on December 10, 1964, and was raised by his divorced parents Bill and Dorothy Flay, on Manhattan’s upper East side. His love for cooking started at a young age, when he started composing his mother’s shopping list, and preparing complicated dishes for his after school snacks, and even asked for an easy bake oven for Christmas. In 1995, he married Kate Connelly, the host of a now-defunct Food Network show whom he met as a guest on her program. The couple had one daughter, Sophie, in 1996 before divorcing. On February 20, 2005, Flay married his third wife, actress Stephanie March. The couple was introduced by actress Mariska Hargitay, March's co-star on the television series Law and Order: SVU. In 2015, it was announced the couple called it quits and Flay had filed for divorce.
