After this happened Trump’s winning streak came to a ground halt. The national economy started to slow down and New York’s economy stalled, causing Trump’s incomes to dwindle. He found it difficult to pay the interest payments on the debt he owed. The Trump Organization's debt totaled to $9 billion, and Trump’s personal debt totaled to about $975 Million.

Donald Trump faced many hardships including many scandals that he said during the campaign, but in the end, the American people thought that Donald Trump was better than his Democratic running mate Hillary Clinton. On November 8, 2016, Donald was elected President of the United States of America. Donald won the electoral votes but lost the popular vote. The electoral vote was Trump with 304 and Clinton with only 224 votes. In the popular vote is was Hillary that came out on top with a vote of 65,853,516 and Trump having
