I) Early Life and Education:
A. Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in New York City. Donald was born into a rich family as his father, Fred Trump, is the founder of Elizabeth Trump & Son Co. where Elizabeth was an active partner “paying the bills”.
B. Donald acquired his education going through different schools:
1. Privet Kew Forest School till eighth grade.
2. New York Military Academy till the end of his high school duration.
i. Fred said in an interview that Donald was a rough kid and he was prompting Donald to send him to NYMA. ii. Donald claims that he has a better militarily training than military because of NYMA.
3. Fordham University in the Bronx for two years.

Donald proved himself worthy of the family business.
1. When he was still in college he managed to reopen and sell an apartment complex his father purchased for $5.7 million and sold it for $6.75 million with an investment of $0.5 million.
2. In 1971 he moved to Manhattan.
He worked on projects involving larger buildings which started to make him famous.
B. He made a name for himself as a businessman after transforming his father’s company, Elizabeth Trump & Son Co., into The Trump Foundation.
1. In 1988, he purchased the Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City.
a. He faced many problems due debts, eventually leading to bankruptcy in 1991.
b. On October 5, 1991, he pulled the Casino out of bankruptcy.
i. He gave 50% of the shares to the bondholders in order decrease his debt interest rates. ii. He sold the Trump Shuttle Airline and his mega-yacht.
2. In 2001, he built the Trump World Tower and started building the Trump Place.
C. In 2003, he carved his way into the entertainment world through his major role on The Apprentice, where he made approximately $213 million in 14 seasons.
