Joe B. has seen and been in crises and wars. “But 9/11 is a day that no American will forget,” said Joe. September 11, 2001 has affected Joe’s life, but also gave him a new perspective in life. At the time when the first plane had crashed into the North Tower of the WTC he was in Maine. Joe had been working for a company called General Electric (GE) training new employees how to inspect weaponry on fighter jets.
Plus, since the attack the united states is too strict in order to do anything. The attack started at 8:50 am and the northern tower was struck first. But even though the southern tower was struck second it was the first to collapse. The northern tower finally collapsed 102 minutes after it was struck.
The twin towers were the tallest buildings in New York City. They offered work space for over 35,000 people. During 9/11 was very scary and devastating. American Airlines flight 11 with 92 aboard, hit the north tower at 8:46 am
Even though the emergency responders for the world trade center on 9/11 were able to save a lot of lives they still had some flaws in their plan which if avoided could have reduced the number of responders life lost. The biggest flaw that caused a lot of deaths was the lack of inter-department communication and collaboration. The two largest emergency department’s that responded to the tragic event were the police department and the fire department and lack of team work led to certain causalities. For example, according to The New York Times, twenty-one minutes before the building fell, warnings were captured on police radio tapes which was then relayed to police officers and lead to escape of most of them.

Bush, the President of the United States of America, created a speech to help calm the public about the events that occurred earlier that day. The speech was shown on national television the United States from the White House. The speech was effective because President Bush did help calm down the public with his speech. In President Bush’s speech to the public on the night of September eleventh 2001 he showed that his point of view was from the perspective that he was trying the comfort the American public.
9/11 in New York is the historical tragedy memory to friends and family. This event have shocked many people lives and will not be forgotten. It also affected the market, building, and business. On September 11, 2001, an infamous tragedy occurred. Two planes hijacked by terrorists were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and caused both towers to collapse along with the people inside. Later, a third hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, Dc. This incident killed thousands and brought America to its lowest of lows. In response, President George W. Bush delivered a speech to America and others from the Oval Office.
The events that occurred on September, 11, 2001 were among the most catastrophic events in American history. The events of the day were summarized as 19 militants associated with the terror group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes and carried out targeted attacks in the United States. Out of the four planes, two of them were flown into the World Trade Center in New York, a third one into the Pentagon in Washington and the fourth one crashing off course into a field. Two of the planes (American airline flight 11 and united airlines flight 175) Crashed into the north and south towers of world trade center in New York City. One hour and 42 minutes after the crash of the planes both 110 stories towers collapsed resulting fire and the collapsing and damage to the other towers. Including the seven world trade center tower which has 47 stories.
