In this essay I will be examining the sociological reasons for family diversity in east London. I will also be defining the different types of family diversity structures we have. Family diversity is the term used to describe the numerous family structures which exist outside the traditional family structure according to (Rapport, 1982). There are many different types of family but the main family type presented seems to be the nuclear family however most people do not live in nuclear family.
