Throughout the Progressive Era the United States had three different Presidents. Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and William Howard Taft. They all had one thing in common, they fought for progressive reforms. But one fought more than the rest. President Theodore Roosevelt time and time again pushed and fought for progressive reforms. Whether it had dealt with regulating business, labor, or conservation, he was determined to make it happen. Teddy Roosevelt was the first president to ever side with the smaller company.
