The main cause is hiding in between the wrappers of those yummy and tasteful fast food meals that we cannot simply resist. Some corporations blame it on the one who is consuming the product and some try to make better choices to change them. I personally think the essay "the Case against Air Conditioning" was less effective in explaining cause and effect writing. From my viewpoint, the cause and affect examples in Stan Cox's essay sounded more like opinions. For example, he

In simple words, metaphysics is one's ability to agree on logical terms. Faith is illogical and everything is set naturally. Chapter 10, page 93 says “We look ahead, we beg our heart for guidance in answering this call no voice has spoken, yet we have heard. We look upon our hands. We see the dust of centuries, the dust…stirs no fear within our hearts…
Another contention in defence of capital punishment is that the administration spares money by executing killers as opposed to supporting them in jail to the detriment of the group. So while the criminal is clearly not upbeat being detained forever, the satisfaction of the group is additionally reduced on the grounds that funds that could some way or another be allotted to education or public health are utilized for lodging the criminal. All in all, the utilitarian would advocate for capital punishment if the sacrifice of one criminal would produce more prominent bliss to the society as a whole. Every situation should be considered independently and the suitable punishment regardless of the degree of crime, depends on the judgment of which
This cannot really be observed or proved like science can. Which is why in today’s modern science the two are completely separate. God cannot be empirically observed and the existence of things in nature cannot be tested scientifically. In the time of the Enlightenment, this dispute of science and theology and what was right started.
Personally, I believe the conclusion of the transcendental argument for the existence of God. In my opinion, Immanuel Kant is more credible because he created the argument and supported it using many examples, whereas Michael Martin only found errors with the TAG. I agree with Kant because this theory is a cause and effect, meaning that God’s existence caused human reason. In Critique of Pure Reason, Kant states that logic originates from an individual’s belief in God. If someone believes that God created the world, then He is the reason why the laws of logic exist.
When it comes to the subject of philosophy, there are a few different “branches” people think of: ethics, political or logic, for example. It is not often the case that when people hear the word philosophy that they immediately think of metaphysics; most people do not even know what metaphysics is. Metaphysics is not a type of science like physics is, but rather the study of what is beyond the physical or beyond nature. It deals with topics surrounding change, the universe and what is common to all beings. It is a difficult subject to grasp, which is the most probable reason of why there are many different theories when it comes to these topics.
This project will focus on the themes of Kant’s argument on God and Belief, and the significance that it has been addressed in discussion of the absence of presence of God. Primary in this line of inquiry is the question of whether Kant admits or rejects God-is dead topic. I will be primarily focused on the following two questions: What is Kant’s argument on God and belief? What are the Kant’s various attempts to address the God and belief is and what are the implications of these attempts? Kant relates God with moral philosophy terms, the transcendental God or the absolute God.
Metaphysics takes a step back and asks the more thought provoking question: what does it mean to be or where does this being come from? Metaphysics like other scientific fields yearns for discoveries that more or less will not make a physical impact on anyone’s life, but they do quench a thirst for knowledge that opens the door for deeper thought and discovery. Using the topics of existence, properties, space, time, cause, effect, and possibility one can conclude that metaphysics takes science a step further by using scientific types of methods to find a philosophical answer that physical science cannot directly answer. Owens claims that the understanding or findings from metaphysics are pieces of information that fuel the yearning to learn. A forgotten characteristic about science is that the subject knowledge is diverse under a large roof, meaning knowledge from one field of study can be used to attempt to help bring light to another.
Metaphysics is considered to be the study of the fundamental nature of existence as such, and the fundamental questions of reality, both of man and of the world. It examines the composition of the universe, and asks “what is the world -- including us -- made of?” “What is the ultimate substance?” Ontology. Ontology is the study of being and existence; of being as being. Epistemology is the study of nature and scope of knowledge and justified belief.
The experimental and empirical science is based on finding correlations between states and properties of observed systems. By contrast, the concept of causation (or causality) is used to make sense of correlations. [9] This has been very successful and result producing. Thus we can say, correlation is a descriptive term with experimental relevance, while causation is an explanatory term associated with theoretical attempts to understand correlations. Causation implicit correlations between cause and effect, but this does not always apply the other way around.
Metaphysical issues of consciousness Before defining “Metaphysical issues of consciousness”, we need to define terms 'metaphysics' and 'consciousness' separately. Metaphysics The word metaphysics derive from the Greek word (meta- “beyond”, “upon”, “after”) and (Physics) i.e. beyond the physics. Metaphysics is the questions about the fundamental nature of reality. It explains the fundamental notions by which people understand the world.
