Driving a car on the highway is dangerous for anybody but it's even more dangerous when we have 16 year olds on the roads. Teens at the age of 16 are getting involved into major accidents on the highway. Many states in the u.s. Are raising the driving age to 18, but in florida, the driving age is 16.crashes are occuring when there are 16 year olds on the road.

In the first place, driving is a privilege that a 16 year old gets but sometimes they abuse that privilege. Driving at the age of 16 is dangerous because most of the teens are reckless when it comes to driving. Teenagers thats are 16 through 18 are getting involved in accidents. “According to the Florida Highway patrol, 25,000 drivers age 16-18 were involved in car accidents” (source 1 4). Many teens are dying from car crashes on the highway. In some states in the U.S have already raised the driving age to 18. “ Hillard Middle- Senior High school principal Dale Braddock supports raising the Floridians driving age to 18” (source 1 3). Everyone deserves to live in a safe community without reckless drivers. “ If we could keep them-all locked up until they turn 18, everyone would be safer” (source 2 3). Maybe teens should drive but only with an adult by their side until they turn 18. This rule gives teens a(n) opportunity to drive with adult supervision by the side. “After dark an adult must accompany them” (source 2 4). Some teens will like this rule others not so much, making this rule is the only way to keep people safe. Without 15 to 17 year olds driving would conclude to less deaths less accidents.
