Other religions would argue that there are many steps to the process of salvation. But Paul describes it so clearly in Acts 16:31. Paul and Silas were in prison praying and singing hymns to God. Other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly a violent earthquake stroke and the foundations of the prison started to shake. The jailer was awakened by the earthquake and saw that the doors to the prison were open. He threatened to kill himself. Paul saw this and yelled “Don’t harm yourself” (NIV – 1859). We desire a deep and intimate relationship with Him and communicate daily through prayer. We follow the example of Jesus.
