Many people think, or group Disneyland, and Disneyworld together, however they have many different attributes. For example, they are each on the opposite sides of the country, the biggest similarity is the fact that they both have the theme of Disney. Disneyland was the original park with 18 attractions on opening day on July 17, 1955. Disneyworld on the other hand opened on October 1, 1971. The size is also a huge difference, Disneyworld is 43 square miles, and covers the four Disney parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s California Adventure, and is about twice the size of Manhattan, whereas Disneyland is only 500 acres and only covers Disneyland park, and Disney California adventure.
To compare and contrast two memorable moments in my life is a difficult challenge for me. I have decided to choose my trips to Disney World and Universal. While both of these magnificent, magical places are located 8.5 miles from each other they are fairly similar and enormously different.
