Two of the Greatest Entrepreneurs A couple of the greatest entrepreneurs of all time are Walt Disney and Oprah Winfrey. Walt was an entrepreneur in the entertainment category while Oprah is in the media category. Walt Disney created some of the first and most known animated characters of all time, such as Mickey Mouse, he also created one of the most known theme parks of all time, Walt Disney World. Oprah Winfrey overcame hard obstacles in her life and now runs one of the most known talk shows of all time, on her talk shows she talks about lots of helpful things, she brings other celebrities on to talk and is a very inspirational speaker. One of the differences they have is that Walt is an entrepreneur in entertainment while Oprah is an entrepreneur in media. The two entrepreneurs may have both had help starting their business, but Oprah was motivated by being the co-host for a couple different talk shows before creating her own, and Walt actually had his brother help him build up the business. Something Walt Disney had to do to sky rocket his business that Oprah didn’t is mortgage all of his life savings and his house and all his furniture, basically everything he had he mortgaged. These two also decided to start their businesses in different parts of the United States, Oprah put her first studio in Chicago, Illinois while Walt decided to start in Anaheim, California.
