Who was Napoleon?
Napoleon was a French military and political leader during the final stage of the French Revolution and during the Napoleonic wars.Napoleon attended 3 different schools as a child learning French and getting an education. He loved to learn politics as a kid. He graduated from military school at the age of 9 his parents sent him to military school in France and graduated at the age of 16 5’2. He became an artillery lieutenant. He also studied strategy and public speaking and joined the winning side of the French Revolution. The French Revolution started in 1789.
Who were Napoleons wife and child
In 1796 Napoleon married Josephine de Beauharnais (1763-1814) at the age of 26 while Josephine was 32 widow with 2 teenage children. Napoleon did not have his own offspring, so more than a decade later in 1809 he got divorced so he could have a new wife and child. In 1810 he married Marie Louise (1791-1847), the princess of Austria. The year after that they had a baby boy called Napoleon Francois Joseph Charles Bonaparte (1811-1832). Did you know the baby boy was titled Napoleon II ruler of Rome. A baby boy in control of a city?!

Before Napoleon took over France he became captain then commander then general. When he was 26 he commanded the entire French army. When the French people were struggling Napoleon fought wars in Italy, Austria, The Netherlands, Malta, Egypt and Syria then he came back to France. He formed a coup to take over the Directory in 1799. The Directory was a dictatorship of 5 directors. By the time he was 30 he ruled France. He did some good things like ending the French Revolution when he took power, rebuilt Paris with beauty, created the new French economy and created a fair legal code still used
