The Revolution first took part in France where the government was as corrupt as the king and queens. Money played a big factor in the Revolution because everything revolved around it and without money you can’t run a government, Economy, or a society. The Clergy and Nobles depended heavily on the 3rd class which was the Bourgeois which was composed of the peasants who were also the main foundation of the french government because they were the ones making their money and producing the crops and natural harvest. The Taxes got so high and bad that the people began to rebel and break into people’s houses and stores and began to loot valuable items such as bread, clothes, money, and other valuable Assets. The reason being is that the government, monarchs, clergy, and nobles had a good relationship, their relationship was so good that the government let the the upper classes get away with everything, including mistreating the peasants, killing them, letting them starve to death, letting them freeze to death. On top of that the 1st class and 2nd class did not want to pay taxes and wanted to continue to live the life of luxury that they enjoyed so much. …show more content…
