To answer this question better than just an opinion, I had to look up the word “luck” in dictionary and analyze it further. Below is its definition according to Merriam-Webster.com, a creditable dictionary online used by billions of people worldwide. Luck (noun): the things that happen to a person because of chance; the accidental way things happen without being planned If a thing that happen to a person only by chance, then how could that person make it to happen? If luck is the accidental way things happen, then how could that person know beforehand to create? Because luck is not something could be planned, it is not in human’s ability to create. Luck create the success of people. One of many examples is a former homeless and veteran named Ted William who was arrested for numbers of time on charges of theft, drug possession, and robbery. Ted William received a moniker of Ted "Golden Voice" Williams when he became a voice-over artist and a radio announcer after being discovered from an interview video that went viral on YouTube in 2011. As Ted became well known, people started offering jobs for his “golden voice” and invited him on TV shows such as The Early Show, Dr. Phil, Today, and Imus In The Morning. If someone is lounging on a couch all day waiting for someone else to offer him a job, then he must know that the percentage of that kind of miracle happening to him is 0.0001 percent, or even lower unless he has an incredible work experience like Steve Job or Bill Gates. He must know that if he does not get up and starts using his effort to find a job then he would never get a job and would, for a long period of time, remain in his current unpleasant condition.
