Oprah Winfrey once said, "I believe that one of life’s greatest risks is never daring to risk." As one of the most successful and widely known talk show hosts in the nation, she has certainly taken risks throughout her life and career, and inspired millions of people to do the same. Throughout Oprah's career, she has made a massive impact on society, impacting the lives of countless individuals by motivating them to take risks in their own lives and inspiring them to become the best versions of themselves. She is a billionaire today, but things weren't always easy for her.

She completed high school in Mississippi and went on to attend Tennessee State University.
From there, Oprah's life only continued to improve.

In conclusion, Oprah has had a great impact on both African American culture and TV.
Despite obstacles, she was able to break down the racial and gender barriers that hindered the success of African American women. She was an example of someone who, despite growing up in a disadvantaged situation, was able to use her tenacity and drive to create a successful career for herself due to her ability to take risks.
