Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is a play that ends in tragedy with both committing suicide. The play is about Romeo and Juliet’s love each other but how they are afraid to let their families know because their families are feuding. There is debate as to who is to blame for the deaths of the two teenagers. Friar Laurence is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet because he let them get married, he allowed Juliet to drink the potion, and he failed to properly notify Romeo that Juliet’s death was a staged death. Friar Laurence is like a minister or a priest. And, is supposed to give advice and guidance to the two teenagers. But instead, he allows Romeo and Juliet to marry even though he knows that Romeo had liked Rosaline
