Who Is To Blame For Romeo And Juliet's Death

Who’s fault was the death of Romeo and Juliet? Was it Romeo? Or was it Juliet? It was Juliet, she was the reason for both of her and Romeo’s eventual death. The reason it was her fault was her stupidity and love that clouded her judgement. Her suicide attempt and love for Romeo’s had made her make decisions without thinking of the consequences. Romeo had loved Juliet helping her want him more and making her love him more. Romeo also had gone after Juliet when she had almost died to evade her spouse Paris. Her poor decisions had caused two young people to commit suicide. The love that Romeo had for Juliet forced him to kill himself, though Juliet had purposefully faked her death without telling Romeo about it. Juliet dies because Romeo thought that Juliet had died so he drinks poison to die by the side of Juliet. Once Juliet wakes up she finds a knife and kills herself. Even in death Romeo still believes that Juliet is beautiful, (Romeo) “Oh, no. A lantern, slaughtered youth, For here lies Juliet, and her beauty makes This vault a feasting presence full of light.” (5, 3 92-94) Romeo still loves his Juliet enough to kill himself to be with her. She still tried to kill herself and failing at even that showing that she is careless in her actions. Romeo is very passionate when he himself kills himself (Romeo) “Come, bitter poison, come, unsavory guide! You desperate pilot, let’s crash this sea-weary ship into the rocks! Here’s to my love!” (5, 3 126-129). Romeo still wishes to be with his beloved killing himself. If Juliet had not survived by the poison then her Romeo’s death would not be in vain. If Juliet had not tried to kill herself and wait it out then both her and Romeo would live long enough to start a family and end the feud between their
