Is Romeo to blame for his and Juliet's deaths? Romeo is the one to blame for his and Juliet's deaths. Romeo is because he is the one who bought a potion and killed himself. By Romeo doing that, when Juliet woke up she killed herself when she saw Romeo dead. There is evidence to support this as well.
