Romeo and Juliet’s love was short lived, and resulted in the deaths of five people - including themselves in Verona, Italy. Dated in 1595. There are many factors that caused their deaths; the feud between the Capulets and the Montagues, the Capulets in general, the death of Mercutio and Tybalt, and the role of Friar Lawrence.
After Juliet’s fake death, Romeo goes to visit her tomb to find Paris there instead. In the heat of the moment, Paris wound up dead, killed by Romeo. Overcome by grief because of Juliet, and perhaps his role in the deaths of Mercutio, Tybalt, and Paris, he swallowed poison from a vial that was illegally bought from an apothecary. He died in the tomb very quickly after swallowing the toxic contents, and it’s believed his immediate motive was to reunite with Juliet in death. He make her aware of Romeo dead beside her, then pleads for them to leave because people are coming. Juliet refuses and is overcome with the same feelings that Romeo had when he saw her, she kisses Romeo’s lips in the hope that whatever poison left on his lips would kill her as well. After that failed attempt, Juliet takes Romeo’s dagger quickly and stabs herself and dies.
The feud between the families was a root cause to the lovers’ deaths. The feud caused the fight to happen between Tybalt and Mercutio, and by extension, the fight between Romeo and Tybalt. If the families never fought the two lovers would still be alive and there would be no conflict in the first
