Who is to blame for Juliet Capulet death? Friar Lawrance is responsible for Juliet’s death. In the tragic play of Romeo and Juliet, by Willan Shakesphere, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet commits suidside. In fair Verona, Italy, they fall in love but can’t be together because their families have a grudge against each other. Friar Lawrance is the most responsible because he should have Asked Benvolio to give the letter to Romeo instead of Friar John because Benvolio was already going to see Romeo in exile.
