Its is proven that about 20% of high school students think about committing suicide, while 9% make an attempt. The William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet shows two teenagers desperate to be together, but they had a much different fate. The tragedy shows that the events of the play leading to Romeo’s downfall were his own fault do to some bad decisions. Romeo and Juliet come from a long-lasting family feud, yet they still fall in love. Their meeting led to major consequences eventually ending in death for the two. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare allowed the two tenagers to meet and fall in love. Romeo made the decision to crash a party hosted by the Capulet family, where he met his true love, Juliet. Tybalt noticed Romeo at the party and got mad. He was going to start a fight with Romeo but Capulet stopped him, Tybalt responded, “it’s the right way to act when a villain like him shows up. I won’t tolerate him.”(Hamlet 1.5 74-75) Romeo’s decision to crash this party was his own free will, however it was fate that brought the two lovers together.
