The International Space Station is a large spacecraft. It orbits around Earth every 90 minutes, going 5 miles per second!! It is used to gather research that could not be done on earth and is a home to many astronauts when they go into space. The space station will been constantly busy since November 2000, more than 200 people from 15 countries have stay in the Space Station. This spacecraft is like a science lab in space. Many countries worked together to build it, astronauts all around the world use this invention to learn and discover more about earth from Space. NASA uses the station to learn about how it would be living and working in space. This will help NASA explore more and more of space. 2. State the year or date of invention
