Juliet's own father is most responsible for his daughter’s death. In the Tragic play Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet killed themselves because of their family feud in Verona, Italy. Lord Capluet was the main cause of Juliet's death. Juliet’s father, Lord Capluet, was responsible for the tragic death of Juliet because he joins in on a fight between the Capulets and Monigues which contributes to keeping the family feud going on(Act 1). He also tried to force Juliet into getting married without her having a choice(Act 1-3). Then he threatened to disown Juliet if she did not marry Paris(Act 1-3).
