The people that usually come is my aunt’s family, my grandpa, my other aunt, and my whole family. Me and my cousin from my aunt’s always play with nerf guns while everybody else is inside socializing. Soon after, we watch the football game, the thanksgiving day parade, and “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”. We first watch the football game because my family is really competitive so they love sports.
Thanksgiving Essay The importance of Thanksgiving is good because it gives you time to spend with family or friends. It can be good because it also gives you a chance to say what you are thankful for. It also give you a chance to reconnect with family, like say if you and a family member/friend are fighting and it's a really big fight and thanksgiving allows you to make peace with your family/friend. One thing I think makes Thanksgiving important is the fact that you can sit at a table with a really busy family and just enjoy it. Another thing that is important is the food.
We always adorn the house on Thanksgiving. I also think we get together because the Pilgrims and Indians got together. Thanksgiving is a time to feast and watch football games and spend time with your family. If it is not to cold out we usually play football with my cousins or uncles. We always have comical jokes.
I am thankful for many things. In America, from the time we are adolescent, we are bombarded with the conception that we can be more, do preponderant, amend our circumstances, and become whomever we optate to be. That’s not the case in many countries around the world. Here we are enheartened and expected to explore, to discover, to endeavor, and even to fail. When we do fail, we get up, brush ourselves off, and keep right on peregrinated.
The smells of fried turkey and homemade pumpkin pies permeate through the whimsically decorated halls in my house. Awaking to the sound of the Macy's day parade and peeling of grandma’s special potatoes never gets old. Thanksgiving is the most momentous day of the whole year for me. It’s such a special feeling to see the whole family together, cooking, laughing, and of course eating! Thanksgiving has an idiosyncratic place in my heart, mostly because thanksgiving is celebrated at my house and has been for over 15 years now.
To me, Thanksgiving is time of celebration and giving thanks. Celebrating and thanking loved ones, friends, food and just being able to fellowship with each other for another year. Thanksgiving is one of the only holidays out of the year that the entire family actually comes together, gossip, watch sports, and talk about different stories and experiences that have happened to them. Thanksgiving also consists of reminiscing. Looking through old photos, documents, and videos that has been accumulated and stored over the years.
The majority of my friends love Thanksgiving, and I love it, too! I just love it not so much for the food or because you’re with family; all of those things are nice too. Me and my family love Thanksgiving because of Black Friday Shopping. Oh sure we cook food and say a prayer together and all of that good stuff, but while we do all of those nice things we look at all the sales papers. We write several lists down of the items everyone wants buy for the sales.
Even if people don’t celebrate Thanksgiving they can still have traditions. For some people thanksgiving is not a time to give thanks, for some people Thanksgiving is a way to get away from people, but there is a reason we have this holiday. It was created to give
Thanksgiving is a great holiday. One of the most unique things I find about Thanksgiving is that many families get together on this holiday, but they all do not do the same things. Some things might be the same, but not all. Each family has their own way of doing stuff on Thanksgiving. Some families gather together at a specific place every year.
Thankful because I am very thankful of my family and friends because they help me get through the toughest times when you 're feeling let down and many other things. many times when you are going to town or something like, leaving the house you should always be thankful about your life and that you are not poor and many other reasons why you should be thankful about your friends and family who care about you. Ethos because it fits with ethos perfectly. When it talks about being thankful you are really talking about everything you like and dislike because you are thankful about them. Logos because you persuade people every day about them being thankful about there family and friends that you start to become thankful about all of your
It is just not the same without them. Many people have special traditions they use to show how Thankful they are and how God has blessed them. My family enjoys good food, music, card games, board games, drinking champagne, laughing, joking, and remembering all the good times we have shared together. Sometimes Holidays bring family more close together. We all have our own lives, kids, jobs, relationships, etc.; so we do not get a chance to see each other
Thanksgiving Day is a day in which you give thanks to others. Such as; your family, friends, teachers, grandparents, and cousins. On Thanksgiving, I go down south to eat a big feast with my extended family. We do many things together as a family and do a lot of talking to catch up on some things! I recently was granted the opportunity to hear what others do on turkey day and compare them to what happens at my Thanksgiving dinner.
2015 has been a year that worth being thankful for. I am very grateful for many blessings over the last year, for every single person I have met, all the lessons I have learned, for all the journeys I have taken, and for everything I have gained and lost this year. I have been filled with so much love, joy, happiness, laughter, and maybe a little sadness and a few tears. But hey, at the end of the day, it’s every moment I lived and every unforgettable memory I created are all that matter. Whether good or bad, they make the year special and irreplaceable the way it is.
For thanksgiving i stay local. I go to my grandma's house, with family. I see really all of my mom's family their, all of parents. Before lunch we play outside and play basketball or football in the back yard. Then we go inside to eat then turnaround and drink all of grandpa's coffee and donuts he sets aside for later , but eventually we the grandchildren find them.
I am thankful for many things my family, friends, belongings ,and my home. And sometimes I take those things for granted and dont appreciate the things I have. I am thankful for my family because they are always there when I need them. They always help me when I need it the most and consider my opninons. Sometimes Ill get mad at them or ignore them out of anger because they didnt consider my idea but its fine in the end.
