Anne Frank’s Legacy There is nobody better at hide and seek than Anne Frank. The Franks lived in a confined space for almost two years with four other people, never once getting to go outside. I hope they weren't claustrophobic. Throughout this lengthy period Anne expressed her feelings through writing. Her journal was named Kitty, to keep her company.
Anne got a diary from her father on her 13 birthday. Anne keeped everything that happend during all the camps she was trasporred through the past years. She was hid in an anxex when world war two was going on the hiding place was upstairs
Anne and her sister were killed on March 1945.Her diary is now read by millions of people all over the world. Anne frank thought that only she was going to read
How did the people in the Annex die? This is a question that need to be answered. There were eight people in the Annex Mr. Frank, Mrs. Frank, Margot, Anne, Peter Dussel, Mrs and mr Van daan. All of them died ehthier in a concentration camp or at the end of the war. So How did Mr.frank die?
The Gestapo game had me relate to Anne Frank in many ways such as us having to give up/lose items to be able to escape the Gestapo, our team struggling to get to the library where the passes/cafeteria where the ration cards were, and us having to run from the Gestapo to hide away. This is like Anne Frank in many ways, she had to give up her house and items to survive for a little while, she and her family must have struggled to get ration cards, and last she had to run away from the Gestapo and hide away in the secret annex. Anne Frank had to escape for the safety of herself and her family. She delayed the death of her family and self just by hiding and being able to handle those living conditions for long enough. When Anne was finally caught the war was almost over indicating she lived long enough to survive most of WW2.
Anne Frank and her family were in hiding for two years. During those two years, the family lived in an Annex with another family named the Van Daans. Also during these two years she wrote in her diary about her experiences of each day and what her wishes were. Her father Otto Frank and her mother Edith Frank including the Van Daans would try and take care of the family as best as they could. In hiding, they were not able to leave their home as they might get caught.
The reason why Anne Frank most likely chose writing was that it was available to her at the time. They didn't have a typewriter, or computer in the Annex with them, so Anne most likely kept a diary to avoid boredom, or to write about her day and how she was feeling. The importance of Anne Frank’s diary relied heavily on the current events happening around her, because if she wasn't a young Jewish girl hiding in an Annex during the Holocaust, her diary wouldn't have been as relevant to history as it is now. If Anne Frank wasn't capable of writing, there would have been several ways for her to fill up her free time in the Annex, such as drawing, storytelling, or some other form of personal expression that Anne would’ve enjoyed.
Do you think Anne became famous and lived beyond her childhood? I think she did she has now let people know how bad she suffered with her family. She also did a good job explaining on what was going on in the annex. The book made people really see that it is not fair to treat people unfairly.
In my mind Anne Frank’s goal of living beyond the grave came true. The diary sold 30 million copies and was printed in 67 languages. Her name we probably be heard for another 50 years. I'm guessing that most schools read this book in classes, and if they don't they probably should because it's a decent book.
In an entry dated 12 June, 1942, Anne wrote that her journal would serve as a "great support and comfort." She help that in Germany they don’t want this any more for the present days. We need to learn from our errors and that is what we need to focus
Anne Frank’s Character Development Throughout the War Throughout World War II Anne Frank was kept hidden away in a 500 square foot building they came to call the Secret Annexe. Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Daans endured difficult times of hunger, thirst, and lack of privacy cornered by walls for over two years. Anne confided her observations and feelings of the hard times within her diary she named Kitty. By writing in her diary both before and after the war, one could visibly notice how Anne went into the Annexe as a juvenile and came out as a young adult.
Another reason why Anne should keep a diary is that it’s a great to show what everything is happening around her. Why she has to stay up there. Keeping memories. Remembering everything that happened and what went on during the time she was up there. My last reason is that it is a good thing to have something like that.
She left a legacy by being the voice of the Holocaust. In the time of Anne Frank, the Nazis were starting their rise to power, which caused problems all around the globe. Before the war started, discrimination against Jewish citizens in Germany was strong. Hitler, being the dictator of Germany, implemented many anti-Semitic laws which targeted the Jewish people of Germany.
Anne and Margot both showed an interest in writing as well as wrote their own diaries when in hiding. Margot’s diary was never actually found but both were accomplished students inside and outside of school. Anne’s diary was published on June 25, 1947, she writes over the course of hiding and talks about changes. I think that if Margot’s diary had been found and published it would allow another perspective of her experience and more about herself.
When the Nazis invaded Amsterdam, Anne’s father took help from some local friends to hide in a complex of his office. The office is known commonly as the “Secret Annex.” Days were spent here in worry, but everyone kept each other alive with love and support. Anne wrote in her diary, which kept her motivated to live. For two years, her and 7 others hid in solitary.
