Moon Landing Conspiracy Theory

“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind,” (Neil Armstrong, 1969). At first glance, it may seem like we actually sent people to the moon and they returned safely. People have failed to notice, however, that NASA didn’t cover up everything completely when faking the first moon landing. If people continue to believe that America sent people on the moon and that they returned unharmed, they will never understand the larger question of exactly how they did it. According to Josh Fox, “On any video footage or photograph of the landings, no crater is visible, almost as though the module was simply placed there,” (Fox). When the lunar module was sitting on the surface on the “moon,” it didn’t create a big enough dent in the moon’s surface to have actually landed. To go along with the invisible impact crater, the stars also weren’t there. The stars should’ve been bright due to the lack of clouds on the moon, but in the footage from the moon landing, there weren’t any there. Additionally, there was a perfect letter “C” on one of the rocks from the moon landing footage. Josh Fox states “The letter appears to be almost perfectly symmetrical, meaning it is unlikely to be a natural occurrence. It has been suggested that the rock is simply a prop, with the ‘C’ used as a marker by an alleged film crew,” (Fox). This letter must’ve been a watermark made by the makers of the props for the moon landing; rocks don’t usually have perfectly symmetrical letters engraved into
