The Nazis also used it to hide and earn approval for the mass murder of Jews. Propaganda was an essential part of Hitler's plan.

The main reason propaganda was essential was its role in controlling Germany. When Hitler ran for election, the Nazis advertised him as a perfect man who never made mistakes.
