[Did you know that one hundred eleven point one million people pirate daily? That's not all. People also pirate: films, tv show, computer games, and software.Many people pirate these things millions of times a day. I know that sounds crazy, but I'm going to show you why people should not get prosecuted for online piracy.]
People that make movies and music make money and have good lives. They always find reasons to sue people a large amount of money for downloading movies, songs etc.They want every last dime of their money and they could really live without it.There is a law saying that you have up to 5 years in prison, and you have to pay a 150,000 dollar fee per file of illegal downloaded material! That is kind of crazy. Not saying that online piracy is a good thing, but it is at the bottom of crimes that does not need to be worried about.

It is not possible to be able to sue everybody or even arrest everyone. Looking at a credible source, one hundred eleven point one million people pirate music alone everyday! Imagine trying to catch all of these people and put them in jail or try to sue them. There is no possible way right now to catch and punish the millions of people that pirate daily. Let's be realistic, nobody would pay a ridiculously high fine, and not everyone will be prosecuted. Even if online piracy could be stopped, more hackers would pop up and find a way to get around it. Many people don't care about piracy, but some do. People think that it is fair, some think that it isn't. Online piracy is not a fair law. It isn't fair, because everyone does it , but a handful of people get caught. A law is supposed to apply to everyone. I guarantee if you ask four out of five people if they downloaded music off the internet, or a movie from an unauthorized cite they most likely did it before. If rules aren't enforced and followed by everyone then it is an unfair
