In today’s society, we celebrate many holidays for certain symbols, events, or people. We celebrate many people as holidays but one of those individuals that we celebrate is the man who technically discovered America, Christopher Columbus. For Christopher Columbus Day, we celebrate Christopher Columbus’ journey to America and helping to help the Eastern world to come colonize North America. While we can see Columbus is as a hero on Columbus Day, he can also be a villain to many. Many see Columbus as a hero and most of them are white.
