Assignment C There is much more to art than what one sees at first glance. In the last two weeks reading assignments I have learned that there is much more to art than nicely arranging colors and shapes to create a scene for someone to enjoy. Not only in the color important but the intensity, position, size, direction, pattern, and texture all add to the experience of studying art. I had known of these concepts before but know have a much more profound understanding of them that will allow me to but understand and interept ideas that an artist is trying to portray in his piece.
Total Score: ___153______ What is your personal response to this score? I'm working on myself and it's a gradual change. I'm fine with this score.
The actual score on the exam was as little bit higher than what I predicted. This is due to the fact that I worked really hard to earn this grade and I liked the material a lot more. I implemented new strategies and used old strategies that had worked in order to try and get a higher grade. 3. How do you feel about your exam grade?
These multiple art classes have given me ample opportunity to advance my artwork. “Best of West” is a prestigious title to hold but one I think I have owned up to. I don’t think I’m the best artist at West, because we are blessed with many great artists here, but I do think I am one of the better ones. I have strived to accomplish more and better myself. I believe my work also speaks for itself and it is here for you
Why I deserve my Second Degree Black Belt Haydn O'Donnell Come this November, I will have been training in Tae Kwondo for seven years. In these seven years I have stayed loyal to my club, even in the event of a change of instructor, I have helped out in lessons by teaching students of a lower grade than me, I have competed in many tournaments, including the 2010 world championships, and since I have earned my black belt, I have help out in gradings and pre-gradings, attended black belt training sessions, helped at tournaments and joined my club demonstration team. During my job shadow with Ms. Eileen Chalupa on Doane’s Campus I learned how to be creative, come up with my own style of graphic designing, and most importantly to never give up or lose hope on a project that someone has asked for. Her job is the head graphic designer at Doane University. Some questions that I asked her during the job shadow were what are some positive aspects and negative aspects of working as a graphic designer, are the hours flexible for the job and another question I asked was what training did she do to get ready for this type of work and if it required any type of education to complete. One of the reasons she chose this career was because her mother went through the desktop publishing program at Southeast Community
It is a problem I have been working to fix. I feel most successful in my art, mostly outside the classroom where I can improve on the tidbits I prefer. Artwork is something personal I do better when working
Graphic Design has always been an ever evolving and changing field. Graphic design-like activities can be found throughout history like the ancient cave paintings or the manuscript of the Middle Ages. As the true purpose of graphic design is to communicate, technology has since made this process more effective, extending the reach and spread of information. This allows graphic design to have a higher level of impact that cannot be achieved without the use of technology.
I believe that I deserve to go to English Honors in 9th grade, as I feel that taking this path will be best for my advancement in this subject as well as the betterment of my classroom environment. I believe that I would immensely benefit from taking part in an honors class in my freshman year of high school. Being part of an honors class would allow me to reach my entire potential in the subject, as I would be surrounded by other motivated, similarly-minded people who would bring out the best in me. I believe that I have shown consistent endeavors to make myself better in all areas of academics through the work that I put in, so going to an honors class would help me to build on all that I have learned this year. Taking honors ELA will expose
I am writing to you because I’m trying to convince you that I’ve achieved the standards of a student that deserves an A in your class. In this letter you will find some characteristics and reasons why I should be awarded this letter grade. I ensure you that I am not a perfect person and I’m sure that I’ve made mistakes, but I know that I deserve an A in this class because of all the hard work I’ve put into this class. When I was little I couldn’t tell the difference between tree or three they both sounded the same and had the same words except for the H. Which made it difficult for me growing up with words that sounded same, but was written different and had different meanings. Since I grew up in a Mexican family where both my parents speak

It is important to study something in school that you enjoy but that is also useful in the real world. I have always been asked, “what's your major?”. I would answer art history and always got a response like, “what are you going to do with that?”. Most parents and students don’t feel that there is a good foundation from learning Art History. It is often heard from high school and college students (influenced by their parents) that to succeed you must major in science, technology, engineering, or business.
An illustrator is a creator of art that helps a person visualise what you are reading. Illustrators create the drawings in the books you read. Imagine not having illustrations in books. Without illustrations do you think that you could picture what was happening? I know that I could not visualise what was happening if there was not illustrations.
This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for students of GVSU, and I am honored to be considered for this scholarship. I believe that I am a great applicant for this scholarship, and that I deserve this scholarship. One reason I deserve this scholarship is because of my strong academic courses. Throughout my high school career, I pushed myself academically by taking a total of 10 AP classes and 7 honors classes. These classes were all challenging, yet I pushed through with determination to complete the classes to the best of my ability.
Most importantly, do you have thought before about how important design is? Some people does not appreciate to the art that created by designers and artists because they unrealized the importance of art and design. Because of that, I would
