I would like to attend Science and Math Academy for three main reasons. The first reason being that SMA has highly qualified teachers. This helps me pursue my career goal of becoming an engineer. The second reason is that SMA offers challenging work, which allows me to push myself beyond the limit. The third reason I want to go here is because SMA is a gateway to good colleges. I hope to attend a good college. There are no other high schools that will prepare me better than SMA.
Science and Math Academy has highly qualified teachers which is beneficial. Great teachers lead to academic success. Getting good grades would make my parents and I proud. It would also give me a lot of confidence. Looking at all the other magnet schools, and talking with my counselors and teachers several times, I have learned that SMA gives me the best chance to pursue my career goal and become an engineer. The teachers at SMA help me achieve this goal. Highly qualified educators are usually extremely effective. These teachers make learning interesting, which makes me dedicated to learning. Good teachers can be beneficial especially for me because I am determined to learn.

Challenging work allows me to push myself self-harder. This lets me see my potential and a chance to see what I can achieve. Challenging work also prepares me for the future. Tests such as the SAT, PSAT, and AP are all challenging tests. SMA puts me in a better position to pass these tests. The students who took AP exams that were in SMA have a higher percentage of passing than the national level. The challenging work they give is one of the main reasons why. SMA students have also earned over 6 million dollars in scholarships. This means that there are a lot of opportunities for students who attend
