I. Thesis:
Abortion should be made illegal because it is immoral, affects the entire society and it is also tantamount to murder of innocent. Abortion is ethically wrong and same as murder because none has a choice to kill.
II. Introduction
Abortion has over a long time been identified as a controversial topic because of the moral status of the unborn. Most people tend to have different perspectives regarding abortion whether it is evil practice or a good practice. The society has distinct controversies about abortion. Most of the oppositions to abortion argue that fetus becomes human beings after conception and from this state; fetus has a right to life (Hull, 2010). Main arguments
1. Abortion is killing but most of states allows killing under certain circumstances. a) It should be done when a life of a mother is in danger.
Certain circumstances which abortion can be justified is when pregnancy threatens the entire life of a pregnant woman, fetal abnormalities have posed fatal threat to newborn or even when the pregnancy is as a result of incest or a forced act (Heritage House, 2006). Therefore, if a pregnancy puts woman in physical risks the only solution is to abort in order to maintain woman's fragile health.
b) Abortion is killing and it should not be allowed but only in some situations when pregnancy seems to threaten the life of a woman. According to Christian perspectives, there are some of the instances in which abortion should be accepted. A large number of Christians agrees that abortion should be the last resort because the decision to have abortion is a serious one and not to be taken lightly (Bachiochi, 2004).

In terms of individual's, well-being abortion causes psychological damage. Most of the young women in the society who may undergo abortion might be at risk for the subsequent depression or even hospital anxiety. This situation may make them to commit suicide (Bachiochi, 2004). Abortion has impact on the society by promoting a culture whereby human life is disposable. The act of legalizing abortion send a message based on little value of human life.
