Confidentiality: is a key care value which protects the privacy of the informations of a service user , when dealing with records and other information concerning individuals who use service.
Confidentiality is a protection to personal information of a service user that helps respect the privacy of the service user by not sharing the information with others to build up a trust between the client and the care worker.Dilemma;there are times when it is not easy to decide whether or not disclose information you have to given in confidence.The only time confidentiality may be broken is when:

Safeguarding: it is an action that protects people from harm and illnesses.Safeguarding protect individuals from abuse or neglect meaning individuals are at greater risk or may have already experienced therefore they may need safeguarding.
Safeguarding is important because safeguarding individuals establishes support and builds trust and respect relationships.Users can be harmed by abuse or neglect there's different types of abuse such as ; Sexual abuse,Child abuse and Verbal abuse.

Dignity: is treating people as individuals and giving them independence and choice and control their own lives.Preserving someone's dignity through appropriate actions is a very important way of showing the person that you value them as an individual's dignity is a sense of pride and taking that away from them may make them feel
