John F. Kennedy’s was the president of the United States during January 20, 1961 – November 22, 1963 and his sudden death was a big shock to the United States of America. A parade in which was supposed to bring joy and happiness, brought fear in the eyes of the witnesses and nation. His death left a big impression and left the country trying to accommodate themselves and make decisions without him being there. Kennedy left behind many issues unresolved, in which ultimately left vice-president Lyndon B. Johnson make the further on decisions for the Kennedy Administration. In a way damaged his reputation because of his ultimate decision he made in the vietnam war. Furthermore, getting a glimpse of how the death of Kennedy affected politically the people of America and America itself as a whole.

Kennedy was a conservative Democrat in which he was backed up by his father’s fortune, winning his party’s nomination conveniently and carried the most working-class. Kennedy at the age of 29 entered the 80th Congress in January at that time being the youngest member. Kennedy announced his running for president on January 2, 1956 in which he defeated successfully liberal Hubert Humphrey, and decided to run along with Lyndon Johnson. Kennedy fought the election with Republican Richard Nixon in which he was a two-term vice president under Dwight D. Eisenhower. In a way guaranteed him the election, however it did not take him far because in November Kennedy became the 35th president of the United States of America.
