But who exactly was she? How did they meet? Lets find out! Alice Liddell was the daughter of the Dean of Christ Church, Oxford. She grew up with many younger brothers and a few older siblings as well. She met Lewis Carroll when he was photographing the church this lead to a friendship between the family. He became good friends with Alice's older brother Harry. When her brother went off to school Alice and her sisters went on boating trip with Lewis just as Harry did. During these boating trips Lewis would tell the children stories which is how Alice in Wonderland was created. There are many pictures of the little girl due to Lewis's skill in photography.
