Martin Luther King Jr. was treated unfair when growing up just because of the color his skin and saw the violence while he was growing up just because african american did not follow the rules that white people established. However King fought with his words to provide better opportunity for african americans. Also he made plenty of speeches that motivated african american to never give up. Therefore King only fought to provide better chances and equal right for everyone. Martin Luther King Jr. who was born in the year of 1929 to 1968 who was a minister and also a social activist. King played a major role in the civil right movement in mid 1950’s which he only promoted non violent acts. King believed that the answer to fighting for equal right was to talk it out or basically without violence which Malcolm X another minister and human rights activist found that enough of talking because it led to no where so far. King became the president of the boycott when Rosa Park was taken to jail because she didn't give up her seat for a white person on the bus. When King heard about the incident about Rosa Parks people immediately wanted him to be the leader because they knew that whatever he said had meaning and that it would satisfy and protect the right for african americans. King at first when leading this movement made president Kennedy feel discouraged towards the movement because he felt as if it would make the legislature vote against civil rights law. However when the movement continued over time president Kennedy noticed it wasn't going to stop he ended up supporting it which he thought was the correct move to
