A tragic hero is a character who does an action or who will make a mistake and it will lead to their defeat. Some characteristics of a tragic hero are hubris, nemesis, and anagnorisis. One tragic hero in literature is “Hamlet”. He is considering being a tragic hero because he was convinced that he was the cause of his father’s death.
